- Description: 45th Parallel Universe is a collective of musicians who come together to celebrate great chamber music with intimate artistic experiences. Their website didn’t visually reflect the quality of music they produce, and the home page had very little information. Hence, they came to me to redesign the website, fix the content hierarchy, and create an all-new logo.
My tasks also included sitemap, style tiles, low-fidelity wireframes, responsive website design, and logo design. I wanted the color palette to reflect the vibrant personalities of the 45th Parallel artists. They had images of 2 paintings that they wanted integrated into the design. I drew color palette inspiration from one of the painting's vibrant colors. I wanted the logo to visually connect to the name, so I created a circular "5" to represent the globe and extended the arm of the "4" as a dashed line, similar to the line on a map representing the 45th parallel line.
