What’s on your bucket list?

scuba

I never imagined that 2014 was going to be the year of “world travel” but it ended up turning into this. This past November, Nick and I traveled for 6 weeks after living and working in Melbourne, Australia for 3 months.

While traveling in Bali, we were presented with the opportunity to learn how to scuba dive. My main motivation to dedicate the time and money to getting my Open Water Diver certification was knowing that the following week we would be in Cairns, Australia. Cairns is home to the largest living structure on the planet, the Great Barrier Reef.

Scuba Dive on the Great Barrier Reef… bucket list for sure!

The ocean is full of color, life and a feeling you can only know from experiencing it. I hope I never forget our scuba experience and that I’m lucky enough to be able to do this again.
